DRUMLINE STAND CADENCES = INSTANT HYPE !!!

Stand Cadences are most often played by drumlines in-between plays at a football game. However, these grooves can be used for other sporting events, pep rallies, or whenever there is a need for extra hype! Drumlines often have many of these types of cadences ready to go!
These are written for snares, tenors, basses (written for 5, but parts are mostly unison and occasional splits can be easily adjusted if the need arises) and cymbals (again mostly unison, and can be split up easily for effect if desired). Unless otherwise noted, all Stand Cadences include a full score and individual parts delivered electronically (for fast and free delivery to the email address that you provide at checkout). They are ready to go!

Vendimac is a fast, high energy stand cadence! It is derived from one of the main grooves in a percussion piece that was originally written for a vending machine and 65 cents. Since its inception, it has been performed by a couple of big university drumlines including UCLA, and can sometimes be heard on TV during an NCAA football game! Your drumline will love playing it and your fans will love hearing it!

Boom! is a slow to medium tempo stand cadence that can also keep going as long as you need. It is inspired by a beat that one of the students at my old high school used to do into the microphone at pep rallies in order to get the entire student body hyped up. It worked! This one is also very playable, and one that the drumline should also have in its back pocket just in case the need arises!

Lemon Slushy is a medium-tempo soca-esque stand cadence that has both feel and momentum. It was inspired by the renewed energy one feels after drinking one of those ice cold drinks on a hot Saturday during a football game at the Rose Bowl. The solo tenor notes at the start allow for the whole drumline to come in quickly without the need for a normal countoff. This one can keep going as long as you want, and the break at the end of each sequence is for the drumline to put in visual stick clicks! It is very playable at all levels, and is definitely one that your drumline should have in its back pocket!
